Road in Front of MPR Building will Be Closed Tomorrow Morning

The City Police plan to close Jalan Gatot Subroto, precisely in front of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) building from Semanggi towards Slipi tomorrow, Monday (10/20). The closing will be applied at 8 AM during presidential inauguration.

City Police Chief Ins. Gen. Unggung Cahyono said that the road closure is applied when the VVIP guests pass to attend the inauguration. And during inauguration, police will direct motorists to enter inner-city toll road and exit at Slipi toll gate.

As for the traffic on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman until HI Roundabout, City Police will not apply road closure in the morning, especially because there are many office buildings along that area.

“Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin would probably be closed after 12 PM. The road lanes towards Monas will be closed considering there would be huge crowds,” uttered Cahyono.
